Walked up to Sue's shop earlier today, to get some dog treats for Abbey and Rudy. Wandered in blathering rubbish and continued to do so for five minutes. Sue then informed me as time goes on, she understands me less. something about mumbling, and constructing sentences that she knows make sense, but she doesn't get.
This has happened before. Friends of mine here have been known to sit around an answerphone trying to work out what the message i left means.
All it means is that I like you, consider you friends, and am edging you towards proper speed english. Keep up, for fucks sake! I've been talking at 2/3's speed for seven years plus. I need to get my english mumble on with my friends
