Just watched the King of Kong, a documentary about Steve Wiebe's quest to take Billy Mitchell's world record high score on Donkey Kong. Steve is a solid honest everyman, Billy is a wanker, who dresses like Nick Cave, and whose wife's tits have more plastic in them than the video machines they are playing. All the way through he avoids playing Steve in public, sending in a gutless video tape to trounce the high score Steve has just set. Billy thinks he is a Jedi, He is, in fact, a sad sack thumb sucking, bedwetting, cunt. He got on my nerves quite a bit.
Well worth a look.
